What?

The GSH Conference is an annual Humanities conference, providing a place for multidisciplinary research presentations. The GSH 2025 Conference is the conference’s first post-COVID-19 iteration.

Who?

The GSH Conference is organized for Utrecht University’s RMA students and PhD candidates by Utrecht University’s RMA student and PhD candidates. This conference is organized under the advice of a Steering Committee, consisting of UU Humanities faculty members.

When?

The conference will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2025. More detailed information will follow.

The conference will be held at Utrecht University, at the Academiegebouw. More detailed information will follow.

What is the aim of the conference?

This conference seeks to offer an opportunity for young scholars to present their research to fellow scholars, to receive feedback on their work, to network with one another, and to branch out to other fields within the Humanities. With this year’s theme, the organizing committee seeks to highlight the importance of interdisciplinarity research.
