RMA Students

August Christensen is an RMA student.

 

 

 

 

 

Iris Krips (she/they) is a second-year student of the RMA Linguistics. Her main interests lie within Cognitive Linguistics, Stylistics, and Corpus Linguistics. She is currently active as a student-assistant within the Mind your Manner Adverbials! project.

 

 

Folkert Megas de Vries (he/him) is a second-year student of the RMA Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance Studies, with a specific focus on Ancient studies. His research focuses on Health and Disease and the sociocultural impact within the Classical and early Roman period.

PhD Candidates

Yowali Kabamba (she/her) is a PhD candidate in Economic and Social History since October 2023. She studies the labour integration of Somali migrant women in Western Europe and how home and host country contexts may influence their sustainable labour participation. 

 

 

Camila Andrea Malig Jedlicki (she/her) is a PhD candidate at the Institute for Cultural Inquiry of Utrecht University. Her research project addresses how colonial legacies are negotiated by different actors in their pursuit of social justice in heritage spaces.

 

Student-Assistant

Sorcha Ní Bhraonáin (she/her) is an RMA student of Media, Art & Performance Studies. She is Editor-in-Chief of Junctions: Graduate Journal of the Humanities and assistant to the research group Transmission in Motion.

JUNCTIONS

Dorian Hagedoorn (he/they) is a PhD Candidate focusing on political and music history. His research explores the intersections between opera and security cultures, 1815-1848. He is Editor-in-Chief of Junctions: Graduate Journal of the Humanities.
